Meet Scott Cross and Zach Cadiente, iProv’s newest client consultants who are as passionate about entrepreneurship as they are about community.
Scott Cross is a serious football fan. Zach Cadiente is an obsessive entrepreneur. They’re new to iProv, and they’re ready to dive into work, helping clients optimize their marketing strategy and grow their businesses. Take a look at how Scott and Zach answered a few of our questions, and get to know what makes them tick!
1. What are you most passionate about professionally? What excites you most about your work & the contribution you can make?
Scott: I really enjoy getting to know people. At the end of the day, that’s what sales is all about. You have to figure out how to solve the client’s issues, which you can’t accomplish without first learning about them or their business.
Zach: I’m an entrepreneur at heart. I’m excited that what I do will directly help grow the company.
2. What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? What inspires you?
Scott: My inspiration is definitely my kids. I love being outdoors, especially with them, either at the park or the pool. I am a HUGE college football fan and an even bigger Razorback fan.
Zach: I really enjoy working and spending time with my family.
3. Where can we find you when you’re not working? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?
Scott: If it’s fall, Saturday you will find me watching college football, and Sunday afternoon you will find me watching NFL Redzone. Other than that, I am probably playing with the kids or just hanging out.
Zach: I usually don’t stop working. I am always up to something work-related.
4. How long have you been doing what you do?
Scott: I have been in sales for 12 years. I started out selling electrical supplies, I spent eight years as a financial advisor, and the rest I spent selling different types of insurance.
Zach: I actually started doing sales in the 5th grade. I sold Pokemon cards to the other kids in school. I didn’t really care about Pokemon, but I knew the cards had value, and I wanted to make money.
5. Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?
Scott: Little Rock is my home. I was actually born in Oklahoma City, but my Dad had already accepted a job to move back to Little Rock. I just showed up a little earlier than expected. I spent a whole 10 days there!
Zach: I grew up partially in Winston-Salem, NC until I was 12. Then I moved to Conway, AR. I moved because my mother’s side of the family was in Arkansas.
6. Any volunteer activities you’re crazy about?
Scott: I love Ozark Mission Projects. I spent 13 summers helping build wheelchair ramps, fix porches, and paint houses across the state.
Zach: I like to volunteer my time to children growing up in foster care. I attend events to support them and offer my time to them to talk.
7. What would be impossible for you to give up?
Zach: My family.
Scott: Besides my kids, watching football. (These questions are starting to make me reconsider my life.)
8. Why did you start/go to work for iProv? What path brought you here?
Zach: Because it was different. People care here.
Scott: My sister-in-law Darla got me in the door. She thought I would be a good addition to the team, and I hope I can prove her right.
