Meet our newest Production Coordinators, Jake and James. They are passionate about people and marketing and eager to bring their skill sets to the iProv team.
Both originally from small towns, Jake Whisenant and James Inwood came to Little Rock seeking opportunities in the city. James brings his art and marketing education and a passion for cars and motorcycles, while Jake adds to the team his writing degree and love for theatre. Check out how they answered some questions, so we can learn more about them and how their backgrounds benefit iProv clients.
What are you most passionate about professionally? What excites you about your work & the contribution you can make?
Jake: I am passionate about working with energetic people and proud about the work they produce and the culture they create.
James: I am most passionate about making life easier for those around me. Whether it be by streamlining and helping complete a task or making someone smile while working, I am always excited to make someone else’s life and work a little easier.
What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? What inspires you?
Jake: My passion is art, specifically theatre. I also am a huge pop-culture fan and keep up with it more than I should, but it inspires my writing and dictates the overall tone of art.
James: Friends, expressions of personality, and vehicles all drive me to succeed (pun intended). I love games, art, style, tattoos, technology, cars, and motorcycles.
Where can we find you when you’re not working? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?
Jake: You will probably find me either at rehearsal, working on a script, or binging television with friends and doggo on the weekend.
James: You can find me either on a drive, playing games on my PC, or having a drink with some close friends.
Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?
Jake: I grew up in Clinton, AR. It has around 2,500 people with limited opportunities to grow, but it has so much heart.
James: I grew up in Hot Springs Village, so I moved to a place where I could actually have stuff to do around where I live.
What would be impossible for you to give up?
Jake: Realistically, water. Actually, streaming services.
James: I could never give up coffee. I need that caffeine fix to get me started for the day, or it is just a slow brain kind of day.
Why did you start/go to work for iProv? What path brought you here?
Jake: The opportunity was enticing, since the job matched my skill set, and the culture of the company is incomparable to others.
James: I felt like this opportunity was the best next step in my career. I feel like I will learn a lot, and become really close friends with some great people.
Jake: “Art is what you can get away with.” – Andy Warhol
James: “60% of the time, it works every time.”
