iProv is excited to welcome its newest Senior Account Manager, Lauren Henrich, to the team!
Lauren has spent over 10 years improving the healthcare industry. She credits her success to dedication, energy, creativity, and positivity — qualities she believes should be part of a healthy work environment and culture.
iProv took the time to ask Lauren a few questions to get to know her better:
1. Tell us a bit about you and your work experience.
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas and completed post-graduate work to become a Registered Dietitian at Southeast Missouri State University.
I have been a practicing registered dietitian for 10 years and Board Certified in Diabetes Management for 5 years. I have practiced in multiple settings including hospital, family practice, endocrinology, and pharmaceutical industry.
2. What are you most passionate about professionally?
I love being part of a creative and innovative workforce. I am excited to combine my healthcare experience with an excellent marketing team. I hope to use my knowledge to provide our clients with exceptional customer service but also to help grow the company, and allow it to thrive.
3. Any volunteering activities you are crazy about?
I am passionate about tackling food insecurity issues in our community. This dates back to the heartbreaking moment when I watched a young boy spend his government voucher (SNAP) on a bag of chips at a gas station, because he could not get to the grocery store.
I knew I needed to take action. I worked with city government agencies, University of Arkansas cooperative extension, received two grants, and gathered the support of community stakeholders to create a community garden in Ouachita County that accepts now accepts SNAP vouchers. I am proud to say this project continues to be mutually beneficial to local farmers and those in need.
4. What inspires you?
It inspires me to be around creative, positive, and energetic people, and iProv is affording me that opportunity.
5. What could you never live without?
I could never live without my running shoes and my wine!
