#1: With Scan-to-Google Drive you can scan documents with your Android phone in just a few steps.

In late May 2013, Google made scanning mobile when they added a scan-to-Google Drive feature to their Android Google Drive app. You can now scan documents with your Android phone in just a few steps.

#2: Microsoft removed quite a few tools and features from the latest version of Outlook. Do you miss them?

Outlook 2013 has many new useful features, but they come at a cost. In fact, Outlook 2013 seems to have lost more features and options than any other Office application. Microsoft believes most users won’t miss these features.

#3: Shut down Windows 8 by just pressing a key on your keyboard, pressing a button on your computer, or closing the lid on your laptop.

While there are plenty of other ways to shut down your Windows 8 PC, simply closing the lid or pressing the power button will do the trick.

#4: Microsoft Office, the suite of productivity tools used by millions, has finally come to the iPhone.

The feature is available free in Apple’s App Store for subscribers to Office 365, the cloud-based version of Office’s business-like tools for home users. Subscribers pay a monthly fee.

#5: How to Clean Out Your Overflowing Hard Drive and Get Your Space Back

Hard drives get messy. You save files and forget them, download huge chunks of data that pile up, and change your naming schemes a hundred times. It’s spring, though, so why not do a little tidying up? Of course, if you don’t want to do this yourself, or feel uncomfortable tinkering with your data, iProv includes this serivce as part of its managed service offerings — just give us a call to get started.

#6: Haptic Holography Will Be the Next Mind-Blowing Technology

Within three years we will have haptic systems on the market that are affordable, both in the form of consoles and via the iPad and smart phones.
