Overview

For more than 80 years, Easterseals Arkansas has shown up for the people who need them most. They work with children just learning to hold a spoon and adults building careers on their own terms, spanning every age and every diagnosis.

One of the most powerful expressions of that mission is the Easterseals Academy, Arkansas’ only fully accredited K-12 private school for children with special needs. Families drive hours each way to be there. Others have moved from Batesville, Dermott, Pine Bluff, and across state lines from Mississippi just to be close enough to attend.

When iProv became part of this story, the Academy was serving 78 students and carrying a waitlist of 200 families. Easterseals set out to change that with a $10.2 million expansion campaign. iProv’s job was to make sure they walked into every room with the story already told.

We produced a campaign video that told the Academy’s full story and designed a leave-behind brochure for every meeting: the full expansion plan, the cost breakdown, the capacity math, architectural renderings, floor plans, and the school’s story from its humble beginnings to the institution families now cross state lines to reach.

The state of Arkansas contributed approximately $6.5 million to the project, more than originally requested. Estate gifts and other philanthropic sources brought the total past the $10.2 million goal.

“Helping this organization walk into those rooms with confidence, with a video and a brochure that told their story the way it deserved to be told, is the kind of work we will always be proud of.”

The Academy
Arkansas’ Only K-12 for Special Needs
The Easterseals Academy started in a living room with a handful of students and grew into a Yass Award-winning institution. It is Arkansas’ only fully accredited K-12 private school for children with special needs.
Families Crossed State Lines
Parents drove hours each way and relocated from Batesville, Dermott, Pine Bluff, and across state lines from Mississippi to attend. The waitlist reached 200 families.

The expansion
More Than Requested
The state of Arkansas contributed approximately $6.5 million, more than originally requested, because the people in those rooms wanted every eligible child to have a place.
Doors That Didn’t Exist Before
The Academy broke ground August 21, 2024 and cut the ribbon on the new West Little Rock campus July 28, 2025. From 78 students to approximately 150 in the first year, with 190 expected this August.
