When Misti Coker came to iProv to produce a video for Tailgate at Marlsgate, we cleared the calendar.
Misti is the co-founder of Personal Pep Rally, a Stuttgart-based nonprofit that sends Joy Mail care packages to cancer patients across Arkansas and beyond. Handwritten notes. Chicken noodle soup. Socks. Small things that say you are not alone.
The organization exists because of love. Misti’s son-in-law, Marc Stringer, was a beloved basketball coach at White Hall High School when he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in 2016. He passed away in 2020. Joy Mail started as a way to show up for him. It grew into a mission that shows up for hundreds of people every year.

We produced a promotional video for Tailgate at Marlsgate, capturing the mission, the people, and the reason Personal Pep Rally exists. This wasn’t a reduced-scope favor. It was full production, voluntarily.

The video helped raise funds at the event and was shared thousands of times across social media, dramatically increasing reach and impact far beyond the room.
Community Connection
Through this project and Misti’s network, Sarah Olds (iProv VP of Product) was recognized as an honoree for Best Dressed Little Rock, a fundraiser for cancer patient transportation through the American Cancer Society.

52 Scholarships
Personal Pep Rally has awarded 52 scholarships to high school seniors whose lives were touched by cancer. Joy Mail care packages have reached patients in more than 100 Arkansas cities, 40 states, and Canada.
