Overview
For a lot of Arkansas families, the answer has been a chair beside the bed, a car in the parking deck, or a four-hour drive home and back before morning rounds. Ronald McDonald House Arkansas & North Louisiana has been answering it differently since 1981: a real bed, a real kitchen, minutes from the hospital instead of hours, and families pay nothing.
Staying close by isn’t just a comfort. It helps parents communicate with their child’s medical team and keep up with complicated treatment plans. A crew from iProv spent a day at the House. We volunteered the time, the gear, and the edit, because of what happens in that building, not because of what it would look like on our website.
